“The rodeo doesn’t change a lot, it is just getting bigger and better and more amazing every year.
“The animals are getting bigger, stronger and more dangerous and the cowboys more fearless, because they keep getting in there and keep going.
“It is such entertainment because of what it is.
“Rodeos are becoming very popular.
“We had a massive crowd last year and it is getting bigger every year.”
The rodeo is going to have the same band as in 2023, the Iain Archibald band, to perform at the after party.
“The band afterwards, Iain Archibald, he was absolutely amazing,” Janelle said.
“He played the national anthem this year and he did the second verse, nobody does the second verse, so that sort of shocked everyone.
“The rodeos are making such a comeback and the animals are such amazing animals.
The Kyabram Rodeo is put on by McPhee Rodeo Company and is part of the long weekend tri-series with rodeos in Merrijig on Saturday and Chiltern on Sunday.
Kyabram Rodeo is at the Kyabram Showgrounds on Friday, March 8 next year, with gates opening at 5pm, for a 7pm start.
