The Shepparton Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo
The latest caravans, camper-vans, camper-trailers, four-wheel drives, 4x4 accessories and everything in between are coming to the Shepparton Showgrounds for three days, from Friday, September 2 to Sunday, September 4. The expo runs from 10am to 4pm each day, and there will be free parking available. No dogs allowed. Adult tickets are $16, with concession rates available. Celebration of railway upgrades
Three events will take place over the weekend In celebration of the Shepparton line upgrades. The events will feature local businesses and include a sausage sizzle, coffee cart, photo booth, AFL activities hub and an ice-cream van. The first is on Friday, September 2 at Nagambie Station on Prentice St from 10am to noon, the next at Murchison East Station from 4pm to 6pm and the third on Saturday, September 3 at Mooroopna Station from 10am to noon.

Reece Mastin visits Shepparton
X Factor winner Reece Mastin is coming to Shepparton on Saturday to perform his fan favourites at Downtown Shepparton, 47 High St, Shepparton. Father’s Day at KidsTown
Make Dad smile on Sunday with a KidsTown-run event. Giant games will be out, the Volleyball net set up and the Dig In Café will be open early for breakfast. Miniature train rides from 10am to 2pm — Dad rides the train for free. Tickets are available at the Dig In Café on the day. The day of fun runs from 10am to 3pm. KidsTown Adventure Playground is located at 7287 Midland Hwy, Mooroopna.
The Scramble Shepparton
Now is the time to round up a team of four golfers and enter the Shepparton Scramble for your chance to qualify for the regional finals. It’s an open mixed event, every player receives six Callaway golf balls and the chance to play for $1700 in prizes. It will begin at 10am at the Shepparton Golf Club.

Shepparton senior citizens
The senior citizens are inviting new members to join the Shepparton Seniors Club at 122-132 Welsford St, Shepparton. Membership is $10. For inquiries, contact Judith on 0409 225 548.
Round-robin tennis tournament
Shepparton and District Tennis Association invites everyone for round-robin tennis on Saturdays. Players to sign up by 1.15pm for three sets of tennis at $2 per week.
No commitment needed, just turn up at McEwen Reserve Tennis Club located at 4 Brauman St, Shepparton.

Calling all bagpipers
Goulburn Valley Pipes and Drums members desperately need experienced pipers and drummers to join the band. Members would also welcome people wishing to learn to play the bagpipes or side, tenor or bass drum.

Over 60s Friendship Group (Shepparton and surroundings areas)
A friendly social group that meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Casablanca Restaurant, 125 High St, Shepparton for dinner at 6pm and to work out the coming months’ outings.
Singles, singles and friend/s and couples from Shepparton and the surrounding area are welcome. There is no committee, fees or obligation to attend outings. Ideas on venues, outings, places of interest to explore and fun activities are welcome.
