What better way to begin the weekend than hitting the pavement with Shepparton’s Twilight Stroll. Departing at 5pm from either the bridge near Aquamoves or the Chinaman’s Gardens in Mooroopna, the strollers will make their way to KidsTown where a free barbecue awaits, along with activities and entertainment for the whole family. Finish the evening at 8pm with a walk back, or if the kids are a bit too tired, a shuttle bus is available.
Mooroopna Uniting Church garage sale
If you’re searching for a bargain, look no further. Running from 8:30am to 1pm at the Sir Ian McLennan Centre, on Echuca Rd, Mooroopna, Uniting Church is hosting its White Elephant Sale. Clothes, furniture, glassware and more will be up for grabs with a portions of the proceeds going towards the Tongan Relief Appeal. The sale will also have a barbecue, cake stall and Devonshire tea. This is one not to be missed!
Indian Talent Show
Presented by the Shepparton Malayalee Association the two-hour spectacle of Bollywood dances, fashion shows, Indian ethnic drama, vocal melodies, Drama By Kids and much more is followed by an all-included delicious Indian buffet. The show begins at 6pm, at Riverlinks Eastbank, Shepparton, with tickets available via Riverlinks website. Adult tickets are $28, concession $23 and children five to 12 years $18. Children under five are free but must have a ticket.

Clean Up Australia Day Shepparton
Contribute to a more sustainable future on Sunday by joining the clean-up — all protective gear will be provided. The event is from 9am to 11am at Kalinga Park on Lincoln Drive, Shepparton, and a free barbecue will be provided. Bring a drink bottle, hat and sunscreen, and wear sun-protective clothes and enclosed footwear. Register for the event through Eventbrite or call 5832 9714.
Women-only swimming — This Girl Can
Aquamoves is welcoming back women-only swimming, as part of VicHealth’s campaign This Girl Can – Victoria, the sessions are to empower women to get active and overcome feelings of judgment. Sessions run on the first and third Sunday of each month from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. The cost for adults is $6.50, children $4.30 and group swim is $17.50 (two adults and three children).

A friendly social group meets every second Tuesday of each month at 6pm at Casablanca Restaurant, 125 High St, Shepparton, for a meal and to discuss the coming months’ itinerary for day and evening outings. Fashion Parade
Fashion Parade and sales by Kay's Fashions followed by Devonshire tea at will be held at Shepparton Villages Tarcoola Activities Centre, Shepparton, on Friday, March 18, at 1pm. Tickets are $8, which includes the fashion parade, a lucky door ticket and the Devonshire tea. Patrons must be double vaccinated and be able to show their vaccinations.
