2020 marked the 60th anniversary of Roy Orbison and Joe Melson's classic hit, Only the Lonely. To celebrate, Damien Leith will perform a tribute to Roy Orbison with strings at Riverlinks Westside, Mooroopna on Friday. Entry is $60, with the show running from 7.30 pm to 9.10 pm. Damien Leith's tribute album to the legendary songwriter, Roy: A Tribute to Roy Orbison, stayed in the ARIA Top 20 charts for 22 weeks and has gone multi-platinum.

Challenge Shepparton 2021
One of Australia's great international-level triathlon races with legendary community support returns on Saturday and Sunday at Shepparton's Victoria Park Lake. Kicking off at 6 am on Saturday, head down for a 500 m / 20 km / 5 km sprint. Olympic distance running will start at 8.30 am, with half-distance running at 7.20 am. Blessing of the Bikes
Community members and children are welcome to head to 18-20 Francis St, Tatura at 12.30 pm for a free event hosted by All Saints Tatura Anglican Church. Special guests include Northern Victoria Spyder Riders and Central Victoria Ulysses Branch. With bikes on display, meet the riders and have a chat. Merchandise will be for sale, with kids’ activities, a sausage sizzle and Fast Brew Coffee Co in attendance. At 2 pm, a short outdoor service will include a moment of silence for all who have died while riding.
