Finish school holidays with a bang on Friday with Mooroopna’s pool carnival! Taking place at the Mooroopna War Memorial Pool on Morrell St, Mooroopna, the day of splish-splashing with inflatables and fun activities will begin at 2pm and finish at 5pm. The event is open for all ages, just remember to slip, slop, slap. Adult entry is $5.20 and children $3.70.
Orienteering in Toolamba

Eden Farm Produce pick your own sunflower
Eden Farm Produce is hosting its second Sunflower Festival. Make sure to pencil in a trip to the farm at 1205 Walshs Bridge Rd, Numurkah, to pick one (or five) of the bright and bubbly flowers! Running both Saturday and Sunday, picking will be open from 8am to 2pm. Along with the sunflowers, the festival has some newborn calves, face-painting, music, food and a coffee van for attendees. Tickets are free, book via the EventBrite website.
St Georges Road Food Festival
Make sure you’re hungry for some great food, entertainment and a whole lot of culture. The St Georges Road Food Festival runs from 5pm to 9pm. With this year’s theme being “world on a plate”, get ready to learn new words in a different language, try salsa dancing with the professionals and browse for a bargain in handmade crafts. The event is free to attend, taking place on St Georges Rd between Hayes and Swallow streets.

The market is back up and running each Sunday from 8.30am to 1.30pm. Filled with a range of stalls, from fresh produce to handmade arts and crafts, you’re sure to pick up a gem. The market is held at Emerald Bank located at 7725 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla, with a gold coin donation on entry.
