Flesh After Fifty: in conversation
Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre's lead curator and program manager, Jane Scott, and photographer Ponch will speak about the exhibition, Flesh After Fifty. Jane and Ponch will discuss curatorial discourse and the impact around the construction of images of older women, perceptions, expectations, and the appreciation of the older female form. Boxed lunch will be provided. The talk kicks off at 12 pm to 1 pm at MEAC, 23 Alexandra St, Mooroopna. Shepparton Festival 25th Anniversary Celebration
After COVID-related delays, the Shepparton Festival's opening night event has been rescheduled and repurposed. Toast the 25 years by enjoying food and drink from local producers and hear from special guests - all are welcome. The event will run from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm at the Shepparton Showgrounds, High St, Shepparton. Register your spot on the Shepparton Festival website so as not to miss out!
Shepparton Farmers’ and Specialty Market
Experience a taste of Shepparton's agriculture goodness through the Farmers’ and Specialty Market. Including fresh produce, food trucks, specialty stalls and live music, there's sure to be fun for the whole family. Get down to Gate 8 at the Shepparton Showgrounds, High St, Shepparton from 8.30 am to 2 pm to get amongst the action. The market is a free event with $2 on-site parking.
Live Music Saturday
Get down to the Maude St Mall for some live music featuring local artists from across the region. Hosted every second and fourth Saturday of the month, make sure to catch all the live action running from 10 am to 2 pm.
Initial Stages - Moana Jr
Join the junior students of Initial Stages Theatre Company as they bring the adventures of Moana and her village of Montunui to life. The show will run for an hour at Riverlinks WestSide, Echuca Rd, Mooroopna with two times available, 2 pm and 7.30 pm. Book your tickets through the Riverlinks website for $27.50.
The Haze - Fright night
Walk Australia's biggest hay bale maze, The Haze maze, and get the fright of your life at the Saturday fright night. Located at 880 Labuan Rd, Katandra West the night begins at 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Adult tickets cost $20 and children $10.

Affinity Quartet
Affinity Quartet is returning to the Goulburn Valley for the 2021 Shepparton Festival, showing how music can explore its own diversity and relevance by responding to the choices and moods of the audience themselves. Catch one of the intimate performances at 1 pm at Chapel on Maude, 160 Maude St, Shepparton or at 2 pm at Victory Hall, 75/81 Hogan St, Tatura. Register through the Shepparton Festival website.
Women Only Swimming
Aquamoves welcomes back Women Only Swimming in partnership with VicHealth in their This Girl Can - Victoria campaign. Enjoy a swim in the indoor pools or relax in the saunas and spas in the company of other women, Aquamoves is located on Tom Collins Dve, Shepparton. Boys under the age of five will be allowed access. Kicking off at 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm, adult access is $6.50 and child's is $4.30.

Mooroopna Country Music
Sunday, June 27 at Sir Ian McLennan Centre, Mooroopna is dedicated to country music with talented Melbourne artist, Danny Stain. Walk-up artists are welcome with Paul Zito's band On the Run from 11.30 am to 5 pm. Entry for members is $7 and non-members $8; this includes tea and coffee. Barbecue lunch will be available for purchase. BYO cup and nibbles. Masks are to be worn on entry. For enquiries contact Robin on 5824 1871.
Over-60s Friendship Group
A friendly social group meets every second Tuesday of each month at 6 pm at Casablanca Restaurant, 125 High St, Shepparton for a meal and to discuss the coming months’ itinerary for day and evening outings.
