Silent Disco
Grab your dancing shoes, silent discos are running until July 10. With several time slots each day, running in half-hour sessions, Friday's silent discos will be held at 3 pm, 3.45 pm, 4.30 pm and 5.15 pm; Saturday's will be held at 1 pm, 1.45 pm, 2.30 pm and 3.15 pm. A free event, the discos are being run at Shepparton Marketplace, 110 Benalla Rd, Shepparton next to Connor. Bookings are essential via the Shepparton Marketplace website. The event is not running on Sundays.
Turtle Muster on the Lake
Catch the final day of Kaiela Arts’ annual Turtle Muster. Packed with activities, including painting, dancing, weaving, turtle making and more, this is one not to be missed. Running from 10 am to 3 pm, lakeside at Kaiela Arts, 530 Wyndham St, Shepparton. The event is free.
Shepparton Library - Fabulous flyers
Strap on your engineering hats and make some fabulous flying machines out of everyday items! Shepparton Library, located at 41 Marungi St, is running this free event from 10.30 am to 11.30 am. The Matchbox Show
The Matchbox Show is a collection of miniature artworks housed in matchboxes. Over the last 10 years, The Matchbox Show has grown from a small collection of 130 to almost 1000 works. Exhibiting at Shepparton Uniting Church, 134/140 Fryers St, Shepparton from 10 am to 4 pm; entry is free. The show will run until Saturday, July 3.
Shepparton Festival: Potters in the Shed
On Wednesday and Thursday mornings, Kaye Poulton's shed in Mooroopna is filled with a group of ceramicists, the Potters in the Shed, learning skills and making ceramics. Part of the Shepparton Festival, view the works of the Potters in the Shed at MEAC, 23 Alexandra St, Mooroopna. The gallery is open 9 am to 3 pm weekdays.
