In its 30th anniversary performance, the 2025 show gives primary and secondary school students from across Victoria a chance to showcase their skills on the big stage.
“Each year the students bring exciting fresh ideas to the spectacular,” creative director of VSSS Neill Gladwin said.
“As to the depth of their talent, my colleagues and I are in awe of them,” he said.
“Their leadership, their inspiration and their creativity will be the face of the next generation of artists.”
All Victorian government school students are invited to take part and showcase their skills across various roles.
Students can perform with positions as principal vocalists and dancers, mass choir, mass dance, orchestra musicians, circus artists, acrobats, First Nations performers and speciality acts needed.
Students can also work behind the scenes in the production and receive training from skilled industry professionals with roles in stage management, lighting, audio, vision and production.
The 2025 Victorian State School Spectacular will take place on September 13, 2025 at John Cain Arena in Melbourne.
