Shepparton is in for a treat with an exclusive Q&A and screening of the award-winning documentary How to Thrive: a practical guide to happiness set to take place at Village Cinemas on Wednesday, April 26 at 6.30pm.
The event is aimed at promoting open conversations about mental health, and all proceeds will go towards The Bridge Youth Service Shepparton.
Originally scheduled for last year, the event was cancelled due to the devastating floods that affected the area.
The documentary features positive psychotherapist Marie McLeod, who takes seven people on a transformative journey to learn the secret formula to happiness.
It showcases intimate, heartfelt and hopeful results that offer a rare glimpse into people's lives and their incredible transformations as a result of learning ‘How to Thrive’.
After the screening, Marie McLeod, producer Andrew Kelly and director Duy Huynh will host a Q&A session.
The event promises to be an informative and inspirational evening that will benefit the Shepparton community and the Bridge Youth Service Shepparton.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase at $25 for adults and $15 for concessions, and booking can be made at https://villagecinemas.com.au/movies/how-to-thrive--special-qanda-charity-screening?cinemaId=025
