From environmental conservation to regenerative agricultural practices, your journey to a rewarding agricultural career begins here.
Being able to grow and develop in the agriculture industry, in which he had been working for several years, is what attracted Chris Lindsay to GOTAFE.
His passion for industry combined with Free TAFE* and the flexible learning environment at GOTAFE helped Chris make the decision to enrol in the Certificate IV in Agriculture (AHC40116) course.
“I was working full-time managing a large property while I was studying, which meant that time management could make it quite hard to complete assessments submitted in a timely manner,” Chris said.
“I was able to complete my course through the online and web portals that GOTAFE offered while I was studying which was a big help.
“The course I was studying had great flexibility and having an instructor with sound knowledge and experience in the industry was a huge bonus.”
A major deciding factor for Chris choosing to study with GOTAFE was the opportunity to stay up-to-date with the changes and newly developed practices within the industry.
“I was able to update my computer skills which was a big focus for me, but an added bonus was learning how to communicate using online video.”
