Soroptimist International of Shepparton has sifted through six months’ worth of donations, and now the Giant Charity Garage Sale is on. Over two weekends, buyers can browse through toys, clothes, furniture, antiques and more. All funds raised go towards Shepparton charities. Both cash and card payments accepted.
When: Friday, November 24, from 9am to 4pm and Saturday, November 25, from 8.30am to 4pm

Shepparton SpringNats
The Shepparton SpringNats is marking its 30th anniversary in spectacular style. This event, a haven for true motor vehicle enthusiasts, promises a weekend filled with street machines, hot rods, customs and restored classics. Attendees can look forward to events such as Go to Whoa, Autokana and the famous Burnout Champs. Strictly no BYO alcohol, glass and pets allowed.

Tatura 200 Charity Bike Ride and Walk
Wheels are in motion for the long-awaited return of the Tatura 200 Charity Bike Ride and Walk. Tackle a range of distances and difficulties, from a 25km Gears and Graze ride to Longleat Wines at Murchison to the titular 200km ride. There’s also a 10km walk through the heart of Tatura for those not jumping on the pedals. All funds raised are donated to local charities and community groups in the Goulburn Valley.

Anjali Sharma in Shepparton
Anjali Sharma is virtually visiting Shepparton to tell her inspirational story. Her passion to ensure the Federal Government takes responsibility for the welfare of the nation’s children and youth led her to take legal action. The judge ruled that the government has an obligation to safeguard young people from future harm related to climate change. It was the first time in the world that a duty of care of this kind has been recognised.

Glenlossit
Join the Numurkah and District Historical Society at the charming Glenlossit, an open house and garden experience. Experience the magic of Christmas past with antique toys, fine china, and unique treasures on display. A Christmas hamper is being raffled off, and plants will be available for purchase to add a touch of greenery to your home.

Pasifika Festival
In honour of its fifth anniversary, this year's Pasifika Festival promises to be bigger and more enchanting than ever. Curated and hosted by Know Your Roots, the vibrant festival honours the diverse cultures of the South Pacific Islands. The day’s program of events will showcase the rich traditions of the Polynesian Islands, collaborating with local experts and artists, local and non-local. All welcome.

Christmas Concert
Before Santa Claus comes to town, Mooroopna Country Music presents its annual Christmas Concert. Backed by Paul Zito’s Band on the Run, visitors will be entertained by the sounds of guest artist Wayne Horsburgh and walk-up artists showcasing their talent. Entry cost includes tea and coffee. BYO nibbles, then indulge in the barbecue lunch available for purchase.
