FrogID Week
Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content
If counting sheep puts people to sleep, then counting frogs will wake the citizen scientist in all thanks to the Australian Museum’s annual FrogID Week. Be a part of the biggest frog count in Australia by using the free FrogID smartphone app to record frogs and their calls. The initiative aims to better these amphibians, their ecosystems and their threats by establishing a nationwide database of frog calls.

Wardrobe Weekend
Cost-of-living pressures are no match for the GV Wardrobe’s ultimate shopping spree. A colossal collection of more than 2000 items will be on sale, featuring various styles and brands. It’s one small step for walkers, one giant leap towards ending diabetes stigma at the Shepparton Lions Club’s Lap the Map for Diabetes. Ahead of World Diabetes Day, the Lions Club invites all to walk around Victoria Park Lake, with the total kilometres added to lap the entirety of Australia.
