‘Inspirational Plants and Inspirational People’ is this year’s botanical gardens’ Open Day theme, and the Australian Botanic Gardens Shepparton will embrace both parts of the theme. The day will include plant sales, a garden for wildlife display, children’s activities under the Oombli Goombli Tree, coffee van, sausage sizzle and water café. The gardens are open at their regular opening hours; however, the open day festivities will occur between 10.30am and 2pm.
Riverlinks Eastbank will be filled with melodic tunes, harmonic music and beautiful chords this Sunday between 2pm and 3pm as it welcomes ANPA Playing for Pleasure. Each year, on a Sunday afternoon, local music enthusiasts come together to perform on the Eastbank stage. Playing for Pleasure gives local pianists the opportunity to play great classical works, on the Steinway piano.
