Violet Town Community Market
Tulip St, Violet Town, will come to life for the town’s market on Saturday morning, from 8.30am to 1pm. Head along and enjoy shopping, find some produce, gifts, crafts and surprises, including a veteran car exhibition. There will be entertainment, including local performances from the all-female trio Dallas Alice, performing from 10am to 1pm, bringing a blend of Americana, traditional Celtic music and 20th century melodies.
Tatura Small Engines ride day
It is Tatura Small Engines’ first birthday and to celebrate a ride day around Waranga Basin and back to the shop for a barbecue is being held. This will be a chance to get in gear with your favourite motorbike with $200 in store credit to be won. The event is at 98-100 Ross St, Tatura, beginning at 10am with bikers leaving at 10.30am, and is expected to finish around 2pm.
SAM Talks: Everyday Australian Design
Connect with Shepparton’s history and culture with the eye-catching art of the Everyday Australian Design exhibition. Guest curator and Shepparton local Ian Wong and SAM exhibitions curator Jessica O’Farrell will be giving an in-depth discussion about the exhibition Everyday Australian Design. It is free and will be at the Shepparton Art Museum from 2pm to 3pm.
