The mobile concert will stop at seven locations around town. It starts at the Tatura Racecourse at 4.30pm and finishes at Stuart Mock Place at 7.15pm, where carols will continue with a concert.
Stops include Galloway St at 4.35pm, Joe Ford Dve at 5pm, Tatura hospital at 5.25pm, the playground at the east end of Sunningdale Blvd at 5.50pm, Moyola Gardens at 6.25pm, the corner of Hughes and Gowrie streets at 6.50pm and Stuart Mock Place at 7.15pm.
Saturday
Santa Visits KidsTown Adventure Playground, Mooroopna, on December 18 and 19. Come and meet Santa and capture your special family moments together.
Santa visiting times: Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 1pm, plus an extra special visit on Saturday evening from 4pm to 7pm. The KidsTown Dig In Café and Miniature Train will be open and running while Santa is visiting.
Entry to KidsTown is via a gold coin donation. There is no extra charge to meet Santa.
Sunday
Carols by Candlelight will this year once again take place at Queens Gardens, Shepparton, on Sunday, December 19, commencing at 6.30pm, led by passionate local sponsors and supporters.
Attendance is free and the event will be adhering to the health directions of the state government and chief health officer.
All those attending must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and show proof upon entry and check in through the Service Victoria app.
There will be no COVID-19 capacity limitations for this event. Masks are encouraged.
Bring chairs, cushions and rugs to allow for a comfortable evening. Organisers encourage people to come dressed in bright, festive outfits.
Residents can even purchase glow-in-the-dark merchandise and glow sticks at the event. Food vendors will be available throughout the night.

Country Music for Charity
On Thursday, December 16, at the Cricketers Arms Hotel, Mooroopna, the popular singer Rodney Vincent is in concert from 1pm to 4pm. Doors open at 11.30am, with meals at noon. Entry is $10; patrons must be double-vaxxed. Proceeds will go to those in need. For bookings, call Joyce on 0408 218 411.
Over-60s Friendship Group
A friendly social group meets every second Tuesday of each month at 6pm at Casablanca Restaurant, 125 High St, Shepparton, for a meal and to discuss the coming months' itinerary for day and evening outings.
