News reporter Khadija Hadjab was informed about a group of lovely ladies that gathers every Friday morning at Mooroopna Library to knit. Curious about their activities, she paid them a visit.

There she shared many laughs, learned an unexpected fact about birds wearing diapers (look it up!) and was taught a unique trick for making her own knitting needles.

I am crocheting a pram blanket. We have four kids and our youngest is about to get married and keen to start a family soon. When I am done with the blanket, I will start something else in pink.
