The annual event aims to get people talking about organ donation and importantly, taking the next step to registering to become an organ and tissue donor.
According to Donate Life, there are 1850 Australians on the wait list for an organ transplant, but only about two per cent of people who die in hospital are considered for donation.
While a majority of Australians support organ and tissue donation, only 36 per cent are registered as a donor.
