The Eastern Goulburn Valley group will be hosting its annual Creative Arts Exhibition on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29.
On display will be handcrafted items lovingly made by the group members, including home industries, photography, floral art, horticulture and crafts, with the public invited to see first-hand just how creative the CWA is.
Eastern Goulburn Valley president Helen Sands said there would be plenty to see at the exhibition.
“The best part is it’s a quite social event,” she said.
“It’s really all about sharing our skills and sharing friendship.”
Ms Sands said the exhibition was a great way to get out, enjoy some tea and catch up with friends, all while viewing the creations of members from the six branches of the Eastern Goulburn Valley group.
“We want to show the skills of our ladies,” she said.
“We’re very fortunate that as a CWA group, geographically we are not very far apart, so we can do a lot of things together.
“We do what we can to support one another’s individual group’s activities.”
The exhibition will be open to the public on Friday from 2pm to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
The exhibition will be held at the Shepparton East Community Clubrooms, at 485 Central Ave, Shepparton East.
Admission is $5, and cash only. Devonshire tea and light refreshments will be available at the event.
