Families headed to the Shepparton Greyhound Racing Club for a fun day and to hang out with AFL stars.

On Thursday, January 4 the venue was filled with kids and families enjoying the petting zoo, bouncing castle, bull riding and more, as well as getting the chance to meet the beloved Paw Patrol and footy stars Cooper Harvey from North Melbourne and Harry Rowston from Greater Western Sydney.

The free event proved to be a big success, with a big crowd turning out, especially for the petting zoo, where children got to get up close to some of their favourite furry friends.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit was there to capture all of the fun.
