The Devenish Dookie & District Good Friday Appeal is hosting Rock With A Reason, featuring Sam + Sam, Nigel Parsons and DJ Liam to raise funds for the 2025 Good Friday Appeal.
With all proceeds supporting the appeal, this is an opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day out while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Event details
The event will take place on Sunday, March 30, at Dookie Recreational Reserve.
Gates will open at 11am, with live music from 11.30am to 6pm. Tickets cost $60 per person, and children under 12 can attend for free.
Food trucks will be available on site, and drinks will be sold at bar prices. Some EFTPOS machines will be available, but cash is recommended as there are no ATMs on site.
Don’t want to drive?
Limited bus seats are available for $10 per person, and bookings must be made in advance.
• Bus 1 will pick up passengers in Tatura at 9.45am at the corner of Casey and Hogan Sts. It will then stop at Ferrari Park Service Road in Mooroopna at 10am.
• Bus 2 will depart from Queen’s Gardens (Nixon St side) in Shepparton at 10.15am.
• Bus 3 will pick up passengers from the Peppermill Inn in Kialla.
Buses will leave the event at approximately 6pm and will return to the same collection points. Passengers must be on time, as buses will not wait, and no refunds will be provided for missed trips.
What to bring
A chair or picnic rug is recommended for comfortable seating and cash for purchases.
No outside food or alcohol is permitted, and glass items are not allowed. Water stations will be provided throughout the event.
