A show ’n’ shine and music day showing off motorbikes and classic cars will hit Mary St with awards at the end.
DDDGFA president Paul Durden has been involved in the appeal for almost 10 years, and said everyone in the community “really gets behind the cause”.
“A lot of groups are all part of it,” he said.
“I think this year’s tally will amaze everyone.”

The DDDGFA is a group of dedicated volunteers that fundraise year-round for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
It’s raised a total $700,000 for the appeal over the last eight years, including $193,240 for the 2024 appeal, which was third in the state behind Ballarat and Geelong.
Mr Durden said the DDDGFA was on track to raise a total $1 million in 2026 over their 10 years.
The groups total fundraising efforts for 2025 will be revealed at about 4.30pm.
The show ‘n’ shine will also include raffles, lucky ticket draws and a goods and services auction, with all funds raised going to the 2025 Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal.
Vehicle registration begins at 8am, with viewings from 9am and presentation at noon.
Vehicle entry is $10, but spectators enter for free.
Owen Holleran, Steph Durden and Nigel Parsons will also be providing entertainment from 10am to 6pm at the Gladstone Hotel.
