Converge on the Goulburn will run from noon to 7pm, with a line-up of live performances, art workshops and activities for all ages. Traditionally held over two evenings, this year’s event has been reshaped into a single-day festival to make the most of the school holidays.
Local groups will take centre stage throughout the day, sharing their culture through dance, music and song. The line-up features the Shepparton Albanian Society, Know Your Roots, La Descarga, Collin Bogaars FUN ARTS Creative Entertainment, SHEMA Shepparton, Heard Instinct Collective, Oz Team, and Lamine Sonko and the African Intelligence.
There’s plenty happening off-stage too, with pedal boats and paddle-boarding on the lake, a silent disco, cultural displays and hands-on art activities.
Food stalls will serve up flavours from around the world, including crowd favourites from Yum Yum May, run by Daniel Lim and his family.
Converge on the Goulburn is a free, family-friendly and alcohol-free event.
