Residents may be approached to take part in face-to-face surveys between Friday, March 21 and Friday, March 28, as part of Greater Shepparton City Council’s annual Community Satisfaction Survey.
The survey, conducted by independent research company Thinkfield, is designed to assess how well council is meeting community expectations around service delivery.
Earlier this year, a number of residents aged 18 and over were randomly selected to take part in a phone version of the survey. Thinkfield is now carrying out the next stage of the process by conducting in-person interviews around the region.
“The surveys are a useful tool for council to gather feedback directly from residents,” council director corporate services Chris Teitzel said.
“We want to know what they think of council’s performance and service to ensure we are continually improving our delivery to the community.
“Residents can be assured that if they are approached in person to take part in the survey, it is legitimate and is being conducted on behalf of council.”
Responses are confidential and will be grouped with others to provide an overview of community feedback.
