The stormy weather did not deter Kaarimba and Mundoona residents from attending the community Christmas party on Friday, December 6.

The party was set up inside the hall this year due to the risk of rain and wind.
Fortunately, just prior to the start time, a cool change swept through and made the conditions more pleasant for attendees.
The party has become a much-anticipated event each year, with Moira Shire Festive Funding ensuring the night is free to attend.
The Kaarimba firemen cooked a delicious barbecue meal, supplemented with lovely salads from Wunghnu Café and followed by a choice of desserts.
Santa attended with icy poles for the kids, and a pleasant festive atmosphere prevailed.
Firemen Ron Robinson (40 years) and Bill Yarwood (50 years) received their CFA long service awards.
Bill and Jo Yarwood were also farewelled from the district as they relocate permanently to Tasmania following Jo’s retirement after a long teaching career.
Save February 7, 2025, for the next event at Kaarimba Hall!
Hall Stories, a live comedy show presented by actor and comedian Damian Callinan, is coming to the hall — you won’t want to miss out.
