The club's barbecue at Bunnings Warehouse Shepparton was a resounding success, attracting new visitors Marlene Brombley, Gale Mawson, and Sue Vaughan. On the same day, the club celebrated Jan Cameron of Shepparton and Manuel Furci of Kialla Lakes, the first and second prize winners of the Easter Raffle, respectively.
The club honoured inaugural members Judi Tinker and Marlene Lockyer for their 30 years of service with badges and bouquets. Guest speaker Avril Noy, Learning for Life gave an insightful talk.
A lively trivia day at the Life Style Village in Shepparton was well-received by all attendees. Special thanks were extended to Life Style Village Shepparton for hosting the event.
Members enjoyed a memorable outing to a Murchison homestead, where they viewed thousands of frogs and had a delightful lunch at a local bakery.
The next club meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 3 at 11am at the Peppermill Hotel.
Visitors and new members are always welcome.
