The event united AFC members, their families and friends for an exuberant celebration, drawing attendees from Kyabram and neighbouring towns such as Cobram, Finley, Moama, Shepparton, Echuca, Bendigo, Euroa and Melbourne.
The night was sparkled with laughter and joy, featuring an extravagant group dance show, spirited games, thrilling raffles and enchanting entertainment for both young and the young-at-heart.
Attendees danced to the Christmas music and revelled in a mesmerising performance by the talented Dinna Aunzo.
The highlight of the evening was a touching tribute to the late Ian Lennie of Kyabram, who served as AFC secretary for an incredible 37 years. His dedication and spirit were profoundly missed.
As is our cherished tradition, everyone contributed by sharing a delightful dish. On offer was a tempting array of appetisers, main courses and the traditional whole roast spit of pork, not to mention the delectable desserts.
The community extends its deepest gratitude to the devoted AFC committees, cherished members, supportive families and friends. Your unwavering support made this year’s success possible.
As we embrace the festive season, on behalf of the AFC committees, I, Mayette Martin, extend warm wishes for a joyous Christmas and eagerly anticipate a vibrant and healthy 2024.
