The Campaspe school holiday program includes camels, ice sculptures and cinemas.
Mayor Chrissy Weller said April was packed full of fun and activities.
“Thanks to funding from the Victorian Government’s COVID-Safe Outdoor Activation Fund, council has been able to provide some memory-making moments across our shire,” she said.
“This funding is being used in the development of ‘pop-up’ outdoor cinemas, to be hosted at a variety of locations across the shire, along with the school holiday programs in April and June/July.”
Kyabram will have Drew Walker playing live music in Allan St from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, April 9, and Saturday, April 16.
Wednesday, April 13, is jam packed with a Bubblemania Activity Station at Jaycee Park and then the Rotary Club is hosting an Easter egg hunt at Edis Park at 5.30pm.
A Texta tie-dye activity station will be held on April 11 at Jaycee Park between 9:30am and 11:30am.
Camel rides will feature at Edis Park from 10am till noon on April 20 and on Friday, April 22, a Whacky Worms activity station will be held between 9:30am and 11:30am at TwistED Science at Jaycee Park.
“I encourage all parents and guardians to take the kids along to one of the many exciting activities,” Cr Weller said.
“There’s science-based mayhem with slime and bubbles, exciting camel rides, cuddling up with one of the Fauna Park’s many creatures, or chilling out in the evening watching a good movie. Plus, lots more!
“There’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
