Riccardi was banned for the first two games of the season over his role in the team's infamous 'controversial couples' end-of-season function in September.
The 25-year-old was the most experienced GWS player to be suspended by the AFL after the league probed the event.
That setback came after Riccardi underwent season-ending finger surgery in August.
Riccardi returned for the Giants' VFL side last Saturday, booting a goal while tallying 22 disposals.
Kingsley last week added former Essendon star Jake Stringer and reigning Coleman medallist Jesse Hogan into a forward line already featuring Aaron Cadman.
"It's a question of who makes way for him (Riccardi). I've been happy with our key forward set-up, so it's going to be a difficult call," Kingsley said.
Riccardi entrenched himself in the Giants' side prior to last year's setback, notably pinch-hitting in the ruck.
Lachie Keeffe performed that job in the early rounds of 2025, but has been dropped to make way for Riccardi.
After the Giants managed a modest score of 9.10 (64) from 47 inside-50s in a 12-point loss to Hawthorn last week, Kingsley wants to give his new-look forward line time to click.
"It's nowhere near where we expected," he said.
"We've got really good players, but they've still got to learn to play together.
"Introducing Jake (Stringer) into that front half, I'm sure we'll see the results as the season progresses.
"(Stringer's) got a lot of work to do getting himself up to speed and understanding exactly where he needs to be in each moment.
"Generating the entries is more of a thing that I focus on. If we generate enough entries, we'll keep the winning score."
The Giants host a winless West Coast at Engie Stadium on Sunday.
The Eagles sprung a big selection surprise when they dropped key defender Harry Edwards despite Jeremy McGovern being ruled out with a groin injury.
McGovern, Edwards, Liam Ryan (illness) and Elijah Hewett (calf) are the four outs, while Jake Waterman will miss a third straight match with a back-related calf issue.
The Eagles will unveil debutants Sandy Brock, Hamish Davis and Tom Gross, while midfielder Clay Hall earns a recall.
Brock, who failed to play an AFL game during his time at Gold Coast, will take one key defensive post, while star forward Oscar Allen could join him in the backline after struggling in attack this season.
"It's a secret," West Coast coach Andrew McQualter replied with a smile when asked if he would send Allen to defence.
"We know Oscar can play at both ends of the ground. We saw it last week. We'll work through it and finalise it on Sunday afternoon."
Restricted free agent Allen has been in the headlines all week after it emerged he held a meeting with Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell.
