The gifted Socceroos' midfielder, who's been flying ever since returning from a hamstring injury that kept him out of action for a month, struck seconds before halftime in Sunday's tight contest to earn his side a victory that keeps them still four points adrift of leaders Rangers.
Rogic's winner wasn't in the same class as his remarkable solo effort the previous week at Tannadice, a Lionel Messi-style slalom and left-footed finish that left four defenders floundering.
But it was a clever one which came courtesy of an inventive set-piece move designed on the training ground.
Three minutes into first-half stoppage time, Callum Slattery had been penalised for attempting to stand his ground as Rogic competed for a high ball just on the left side of the box.
From the resultant free-kick, David Turnbull fooled the defence by disguising his rolled free-kick across the 18-yard box straight into the path of Rogic, who peeled off untracked and fired into the top corner.
Rogic, clearly the man of the match for the second week running, was at the centre of all that was good from Celtic after the break too in a game they largely dominated.
Rogic's decisive moment enabled his old Socceroos' boss Ange Postecoglou to celebrate despite Celtic having no centre forward in their squad after midweek hamstring injuries to Albian Ajeti and Kyogo Furuhashi.
Postecoglou praised Rogic's contribution as "enormous" and was particularly impressed with the way he adapted to a different role in the absence of out-and-out strikers.
"It was a bit of a different role for him, Dave (Turnbull) and Cal (McGregor). We wanted them to use that space through the middle and to try and get into more attacking positions. All three of them did."
Soon after halftime, Turnbull set up Rogic for a second time only for Nathan McGinley to slide in to deny him.
Rogic was guilty of spurning another couple of opportunities late on, especially after Turnbull put him through on goal only for him to be denied by a brilliant Liam Kelly stop.
But Celtic, who look in good heart to take on Martin Boyle's Hibernian in next week's Scottish League Cup final at Hampden Park, prevailed to move on to 38 points after 17 games, with Rangers on 42.
