After conceding in the 74th minute, the hosts, coached by fellow Australian Joe Montemurro, responded with a double from Kadidiatou Diani before fellow substitute Eugenie Le Sommer and skipper Wendie Renard netted.
"It wasn't an easy match. We were behind in the second half. We never gave up, right until the end. We were determined to get the equaliser, and then the win," Diani told uefa.com.
"At halftime, the coach told us that it wasn't good enough but that he had confidence in us. He knew we were going to change things in the second half."

In London, Chelsea also booked their spot in the quarter-finals with a 3-0 win over Celtic.
Sonia Bompastor's side maintained their 100 per cent record in all competitions this season, making it 11 wins out of 11 through goals from Lucy Bronze, Wieke Kaptein and a late Eve Perisset penalty.

The Colombian standout at the 2023 World Cup scored in first-half added time and set up Signe Bruun for a simple finish in the 71st minute to rally Madrid for a 3-2 win, one week after beating the Dutch side 7-0 in Spain.
Madrid (nine) moved six points clear of Twente after four rounds, three behind Group B leaders Chelsea.
While the 19-year-old Caicedo was starring in the Netherlands, Germany great Alexandra Popp scored a hat-trick and had two assists in Wolfsburg's 5-0 win against overmatched Galatasaray.

Wolfsburg, who won 5-0 in Istanbul last week, are tied on six points in Group A with second-placed Roma but enjoy a seven-goal advantage over the Italians.
Next up for the German club, a home clash against Roma in three weeks.
"Of course we want to win the game, we want to reach the quarter-finals, we want to survive the group stage," veteran star Popp told uefa.com, looking ahead to Roma's visit.
"We knew it wouldn't be easy, but now we're in the situation that we have the chance of a 'final' against Roma here at home in front of a hopefully great crowd. There we of course want to give our best and win."
