The Force banked their first victory in their three games played, setting up their Sunday night victory over the second-placed Drua on the back of an impressive first half.
After scoring five tries to two in the first half at HBF Park for a 33-14 lead at the break, the home side managed to repel a Drua fightback in the second half.
Now sitting fourth on the ladder, the Force travel to Brisbane to face the third-placed Reds next Sunday while the Drua have a final round bye.
"We're happy to finally get on the board," said Force skipper Trilleen Pomare.
"It was a tough effort, we know the Fijian girls never give up and it was a high-scoring game and we almost let them in but we managed to close it off and take home with the W (win).
"We're going to celebrate this one as we finally got a win - that's something we've been chasing - and we will focus on next week come Monday."
In hot conditions in Perth, the Drua were first on the scoreboard with Karalaini Naisewa touching down in the fourth minute.
The home side settled into the game and with their set piece dominant and on the back of some big ball carries, took a 21-7 lead as forwards Tamika Jones, Sera Naiqama and Pia Tapsell all crossed.
No.8 Naisewa struck back for the visitors but the Force continued to extend their lead with Adi Vani Buleki and then Pomare scoring within three minutes.
Pomare's was a special, with the centre booting the ball downfield and regathering to score.
In the 46th minute, the Drua were rewarded through prop Anna Korovata but 10 minutes later the Force were in again after flyhalf Grace Freeman ran on to a neat pass inside from Pomare.
With five conversions, Freeman's personal tally for the match was 15 points.
Sevens specialist Alowesi Naikodravi Nakoci came off the bench to cut through the defence for a 70 metre effort.
But the Drua then cruelled their chances by giving up a penalty try, with Loraini Senivutu yellow-carded for illegally bringing down the Force maul.
A 73rd minute try by Ema Adivitaloa ensured the Drua finished with a bang but it was still the Force's time to celebrate.
Drua skipper Vika Matarugu vowed to rebound for the finals.
"I'm so proud of the efforts we showed today and I think we're going to come back strong in the next game," she said.
