Injured stalwarts Alyssa Healy and Ashleigh Gardner remain out of Australia's team as fitness clouds linger over the star duo.
Captain Healy has also been ruled out of the third T20 in Adelaide, with her availability for the sole Test match of the series starting on Wednesday "to be determined in due course", Cricket Australia said in a statement.
"Ash (Gardner) will continue to be assessed daily, and her availability for the third T20I remains uncertain," the statement continued.
