Charlie Woods, the 15-year-old son of Tiger Woods, has missed the cut at the US Junior Amateur by 18 strokes.
The younger Woods carded a 10-over-par 80 in the second round at Oakland Hills' South Course on Tuesday after posting a 12-over 82 on Monday at Oakland Hills' North Course.
Back from missing the cut at the British Open, 15-time major winner Tiger Woods was in attendance to watch his son compete in the event that he won at age 15, 16 and 17, making him the tournament's only three-time champion.
Charlie, who will soon start his sophomore year of high school in Florida, played his way into the tournament with many of world's top juniors by shooting a one-under 71 to win his qualifier.
Blades Brown was the stroke-play medalist at six-under 134 after shooting a 68 at the South Course. The top 64 in the 264-player field advance to match play, which begins Wednesday.
