The hosts previously banked a 3-0 win in the three-match 50-over series.
Tahlia McGrath will continue to captain the Australians in the absence of regular skipper Alyssa Healy, who remains sidelined by a foot injury.
After the Adelaide T20, the rivals will play a one-off Test match at the MCG starting on Thursday.
