The news comes as a boost for Australia, with Brown now set to have crucial match practice ahead of the multi-format tour of India beginning in December.
The Australian quick injured her left hamstring during the ODI series opener against West Indies early last month and has not played since.
The injury cast doubt over Brown's ability to line up in the Strikers' title defence after shaping as a key component of their bowling attack over the previous three summers.
Nearing her recovery, the 20-year-old flew to Sydney on Sunday night to join the Strikers ahead of their third and final game of an away stand in the Harbour City.
She was set to train with the Strikers on Monday ahead of Tuesday's match against the Sydney Thunder at Cricket Central and could be included in the XI.
If not, she is likely to return either against the ladder-leading Perth Scorchers at Adelaide Oval on Friday, or against the Hobart Hurricanes two days later.
"Fingers crossed she ticks everything off and we might see her back towards the back-end of the round games," said Strikers assistant coach Nicole Bolton.
"Looking forward to that finals series for her to hopefully play some part in it."
Saturday's defeat of the Sydney Sixers confirmed the Strikers would qualify for a third consecutive finals series.
With the victory, they drew level with the first-placed Scorchers on 16 points, with a game in hand.
Finishing atop the ladder would give either side free passage to the WBBL final, which they would also host.
"At this stage the Scorchers are looking pretty formidable up the top there so if we can knock them off their perch and not have to travel anywhere close to WA, that'd be nice," Bolton said.
"But we'll just see how we go and keep winning games and give ourselves a chance."
