ASX rebounds, up 0.3 pct in early trading

Seven of the ASX's 11 sectors were up, industrials and consumer discretionary shares were collectively flat and property and health care were down.  

The energy sector was the biggest mover, rising 3.1 per cent. 

Woodside was up 3.7 per cent and Whitehaven Coal had risen three per cent.

The S&P/ASX200 closed 2.58 per cent down on Wednesday, to a one-week low of 2828.6.
