Sanil Babu got the team off to a flyer with fantastic shots, including a huge six to make 16 in the first 20 balls.
Wickets started to fall, but then captain Shaun Iddles and Luke McWhirter combined for a 35 run middle innings partnership.
It gave the team a solid 101 off its 20 overs.
Sam Breed tore the heart out of the Exies Eagles side with the ball, taking 3/6 off three overs.
Andy McIntyre (3/10) and Iddles (2/22) were also important contributors to bowl Exies out for 66.

Mr Consistent has been in fantastic form for a few seasons, and it was great to see him raise the bat for a century.
Before play was abandoned due to a technical issue with the lights, the Nomads scored 7/180 against the Ex-Servicemen’s Diggers off 35 overs.
The Diggers got through five overs, scoring 27, before the game was stopped.
