Here's what discipline they're tackling and when you might be able to see them in action.
James Willett
The Mulwala product and Deniliquin Clay Target Club member will be taking on the Double Trap event in Tokyo, which kicks off on Wednesday.
“The Olympics will definitely be different with all of the COVID restrictions in place, but our shooting events will be similar to normal international events as we don’t normally get large crowds,” Willett told the Pastoral Times earlier this month.
“This will be the same in Japan, I think.
“We will just have to limit our movements as athletes, and avoid contact with large groups of people.
“I am hopeful our lead in to the event will be the same with some training available on the range prior to competition.”
Willett's mother Dionne also spoke to the Corowa Free Press about her son's efforts.
“He’s very positive. He has the nerves out of the way from the first games (Rio 2016),” she said.
“There is some anxiousness with COVID, but in the whole team also, especially since there has been a couple of cases in the Olympic village.
“But his preparation has been going to plan and he has had tremendous support from the local community.”

Jock Landale
The grandson of well known Deniliquin couple Hunter (dec) and Peg Landale and son of Mundiwa’s Clive and Suellen Landale will be competing at the Olympics for the first time.
A basketballer - who claimed the 2021 NBL title with Melbourne United - Landale and the Boomers will first take to the court against Nigeria on Sunday from 6.20 pm.
“My immediate reaction was first a bit of relief and then all the emotions of ‘I’m on the Olympic squad’,” Landale told the Pastoral Times in May when selected.
“It really is a proud moment given all I have sacrificed and with having to move away from home to get to where I am.”

Daniel Repacholi
Repacholi is embarking on his fifth Olympic journey from 2 pm on Saturday, but there will be plenty of support in Mooroopna for the member of the Australian shooting team.
His parents Colin and Geraldine have been Fruit Salad City residents for 15 years, and will be cheering loudly while watching the games.
Repacholi is tackling the 10m Air Pistol and 50m Free pistol events.
