Yarrawonga 69 defeated Wangaratta Rovers 25.
A Grade came away with a great win and special mention to Emily McNamara who played a fantastic game in her A grade debut.
The cold and windy conditions caused a few turnovers for both teams, but the Pigeons A grade girls were able to capitalise and build on their lead each quarter to come away with a 44 goal win.
The girls adjusted superbly to rotations to allow fresh legs to come on at each quarter break, which is proving to be a strength for this side.
A dominate display led by co-coach Laura Irvine gave her best on court honours.
Bridget Cassar shot well with the A Grade winning by 44 goals.

B Grade
Yarrawonga 45 defeated by Wangaratta Rovers 47.
Up against a determined Wangaratta Rovers side, it was a fantastic start that saw an ugly end for the Yarrawonga girls on Saturday.
Patches of inconsistency punished the success of Yarrawonga, unfortunately giving up an initial half time lead to go down by 2.
Throughout the match, there were exceptional passages of play with Maddie Kennedy providing great attacking drive down the court for Ellie Dickens, Aleisha Leslie and Delaynee Moon to have plenty of opportunity in the goal circle.
Despite the vocal, composed and hardworking defensive pressure provided by Jaclyn Oswald, and the measured decision making in attack from Abbey Jones, Rovers fought hard in the final term to run over the Yarrawonga in the final minutes of the game.
A disappointing result for the Yarrawonga girls as they move on to next week, ready to reset and put together 4 strong, disciplined quarters of netball.
Awards: Abbey Jones and Jackie Oswald.
C Grade
Yarrawonga 39 defeated Wangaratta Rovers 35
What a game the C Grade had against Wang Rovers! With only 8 players available this week, the Pigeons took the opportunity to work together in new combinations and minimal rotations.
The team saw Sarah, Amy and Macey work hard in defence creating many turnovers, Clare, Bree and Zoe running hard and feeding accurately with Zoe also swinging into goals to work the ring with Dee.
The C Grade concentrated on everything they do at trainings in both the attacking and defending ends of the court and worked hard to apply it during the game!
All four quarters were tough, however the team effort and support for each other kept them going, leading to a fantastic win.
Awards: Sarah and Zoe.
