Some of the fastest dogs in Shepparton were honoured and awarded at Shepparton Greyhound Club’s recent awards night.

Mister Frank and his trainer, Adam Dalton, took out the prestigious Greyhound of the Year award after a hugely successful season, while Tony Duncan was named Trainer of the Year.

Club stalwarts Ken Murphy and Doug Eddy took home Life Membership awards for their services.

The President’s Award went to Alan Ferguson.

Hawthorn AFL legend, Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico and Sydney-based radio and television presenter Jess Eva, a former employee of the club, were special guests for the evening.

The Shepparton Greyhound Club also presented The Kialla Fire Brigade, The Longwood Coursing Club and Benalla Coursing Club with sponsorships grants.

Member for life: Doug Eddy was awarded a Shepparton Greyhound Club life membership.
