Posting first, the Wanderers generated a strong start as Crystal Stevens and Jorja Anderson entered the 20s before exiting the crease.
However, wedged between the duo’s dismissals was a moment of magic for United’s strike seamer Dinesha Patabandige.
All it took was three balls for the Youth Club talisman to crash a trio of Beechworth castles, taking a stunning hat-trick to drag back the ascendancy for the hosts.

She’d go on to take another wicket, and though Christina Roberts (2-9) bowled astutely, a late flurry from Burns (38 not out) carried the Wanderers to 8-142 from their 30 overs.
United’s start with the bat was akin to Beechworth’s, however, once Roberts (15) departed, capitulation ensued.
Burns snuffed the life out of United’s chances as she turned it on with the pink ball, collecting 5-4 to complete a stunning all-round display and orchestrate the host’s demise as it was bowled out for 59.

Sharon Henson, Grace Moyle and Delaney Laffy each made 40-plus to steer Echuca to 207; the Murray Bombers then strangled Bamawm Lockington United for a monster 162-run victory.

Examining B-grade, Kyabram Fire Brigade’s beating of BLU was anything but lacklustre in nature.
Thanks to Jess O’Neill (23 retired) and Lara Hooper (18 retired), the visitors piled on 2-132 before leaving the combine stranded on 6-53 at the end of its innings.
And over at Kyabram, Moama notched its first win of the season by sailing past the Redbacks for a seven-wicket victory.
Lastly, under-14 Youth Girls action had Kyabram Fire Brigade Pink skittle Rochester Renegades while Echuca Stars rallied to four points by overcoming Moama.
