The Port of Echuca’s Discovery Centre is hosting After Dark Walking Tours, teaching visitors historic stories about murder, spooks and ghosts at the Port of Echuca wharf and surrounds.
“The one-hour guided lantern tour will teach visitors about the darker side of Echuca, which visitors don’t learn about in the regular daytime tour,” Holly Clarke from Campaspe Shire Council said.
Tours are capped at 20 people per tour and currently require all participants to be double-vaccinated.
Tours run every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night and are restricted to children aged 12 years and older.
Tickets cost $15 and give visitors entry to the daytime tour, which runs from 11.30am-1.30pm daily, telling the origin story of the Port of Echuca.
Tickets are no longer able to be purchased online and now must be purchased at the gift shop, so staff can see the vaccine certificates before booking participants for the tour.
The Port of Echuca Discovery Centre Gift Shop is located at 74 Murray Esplanade, Echuca.
