The quest for votes has started in earnest, the Government recognises you need more money and the Opposition also agrees, but you will not receive anything ‘money-wise’ unless it is on their terms.
Costs associated with maintaining a home and feeding a family keep rising.
Keeping a family warm and healthy is becoming more difficult every day and can lead to family relationship breakdowns.
I believe the elected politicians are responsible for this state of the nation!
What can be done to make Australia great again?
One big step in the right direction would be to abolish the Goods and Services Tax!
It would lower prices, where applicable, by 10 per cent and remove the burden of collection by business.
The GST was never voted in by the Australian people but imposed by the Liberal John Howard, it has now been tried and found wanting because the tax burden falls on the people who can least afford it!
The money collected by the GST would instead remain in ‘hard pressed’ Australian tax-payers’ pockets to be spent as they wished for everyday living and not used to buy votes for politicians.
Abolishing the GST is a policy for all Australians — let’s get on with it!
