The production, choreographed by Argentinian artist Pamela Frank, explores themes of existence and self-discovery through the metaphor of chaos and confusion.
“We are thrilled to once again spotlight our local talents and welcome the Transit Dance Company,” Riverlinks manager Matthew Schroeders said.
“This year’s performance promises to be inspiring and continue our tradition of providing Greater Shepparton participants with invaluable opportunities to learn from some of Australia’s top choreographers.”
The show is on at 7.30pm on Thursday, April 10.
In the lead-up to the performance, a four-day Holiday Dance Workshop will be held.
It is suitable for people with previous dance experience aged 12 to 25.
Participants will work with leading Australian choreographers Paul Malek and Jayden Hicks to create an original 20-minute dance piece, which they will perform alongside Chaos.
The workshop begins at 9am on Monday, April 7, and concludes at 3pm on Thursday, April 10.
To enrol in the four-day workshop the cost is $155 per participant (which includes a ticket to the 7.30pm performance).
If interested in the workshop, find out more information here.
The production is supported by Greater Shepparton City Council and Creative Victoria.
Tickets range from $20 to $34.
