La Dorada, the region’s first 24/7 contactless tanning studio, opened its doors on Tuesday, March 25.
Located at 46 Guthrie St, the former Guthrie St Milk bar is now La Dorada, a 24/7 tanning service.
The business was founded in Moama by Rikki-Lee and Jordan Ives, who saw an opportunity to introduce an automated tanning experience to rural areas.
The success of the Moama site led them to partner with Sarahjane and Justin Kalafatis to bring the popular concept to Shepparton.
Unlike traditional tanning salons, La Dorada operates without staff on site.
Customers book their appointments through an app, which also grants them access to the studio via a Bluetooth door reader.
Clients are guided into a space of their own for the duration of their booking.
Inside, automated booths offer four different tanning shades with varying intensities.
Security measures, including restricted entry and surveillance cameras, have been implemented to ensure safety.
The rise of contactless beauty services reflects a shift in how people approach personal care, with convenience playing an increasingly important role.
As Shepparton continues to grow, businesses such as La Dorada highlight the ways in which rural areas are embracing new trends and technologies.
Indulge in a luxurious, private experience.
