The prize for top recruit at an Australian Army Reserve recruit camp at Puckapunyal in 1975 was a fine silver tray. And the top man of the 50 at the camp was Peter Bond, 18, an apprentice motor mechanic in Echuca. The officer in charge of C Company based at Shepparton, Major A.
