The much-awaited Mild2Wild 2025 Murray River Rod Run has finally arrived with the event cruising into town this weekend.

You will see hot rods arriving in town from Friday in time for their entrants only registration event, before an observation cruise around the shire held on Saturday morning.
Our community is welcome to join the Street Cruise from 6pm on Saturday.
Participants will be cruising the main street to live music, with food trucks open until 9pm.
The Recreation Reserve will house the impressive show and shine event on Sunday, which will open to the public from 4pm.
There will be food available and live entertainment from the Pacific Belles and Rockin' Rick Charles.
Entry to this event is $5 per person.
This is always an incredible weekend to be in Tocumwal to see all the hard work from the Mild2Wild Rod and Custom committee come to life.

Tocumwal Football Netball Club is on the hunt for a canteen manager for the upcoming season.
If you are handy in the kitchen, love footy, and enjoy being part of a great community, they would love to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with the club, keep players and supporters fuelled, earn some extra money and be part of the action on home games.

With financial aid from the Tocumwal Community Development Committee, members of the Tocumwal Men’s Shed have been busy building a cubby house for the children at Tocumwal’s Little Explorers.
There is a sandpit still to come to add to the enjoyment of the children.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining, Tocumwal Men’s Shed is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 8am on Deniliquin St, next to the skate park.
There is a joining fee of $40 and $2 for each session after that.

Julia Stava is seeking donations of pots for the Biggest Morning Tea, which will be held on May 22.
The donations will be for the plant trading table.
Punnets of winter flowering seedlings and potting mix would also be helpful.

The Tocumwal Optimists have resumed activities in 2025, and at the recent AGM the executive was re-elected - Glenda Burns as president, Marg Dixon as secretary and Anne Braybon as treasurer.
The Optimists’ first fundraising effort for 2025 is a street stall to be held outside of March’s IGA this Saturday, from 9am to 1pm.
Head along and support the Optimists, who will have a wide variety of homemade goods including cakes, slices, preserves, plants and books.
A raffle of a substantial hamper will be held in conjunction with the stall, with tickets costing $5 each.
The Optimists appreciate greatly the support of the local community and visitors alike.
All proceeds from the stall will be distributed to local community organisations and other worthy causes.
The Tocumwal Optimists are always seeking new members.

The World Day of Prayer service this year in Tocumwal will be at St Alban’s Anglican Church this Friday.
Start time is 10am, and morning tea will follow.
The service has been prepared by the women of the Cook Islands, and speaker will be Rev Gemma Le Mesurier.
While this worldwide annual service was once for women only, but is now open to all.
Everyone is welcome, whether they are regular church attenders or not.
