This fight took place in Maude St, near Fryers St, at around 1am on March 2.
A 23-year-old Shepparton man was allegedly slashed around his neck and upper body with a broken glass bottle and was taken to GV Health via ambulance, police said.
A 52-year-old Shepparton man also allegedly sustained lacerations and was knocked unconscious during the fight.
After reviewing CCTV footage, police believe six people were involved in the brawl; however, multiple intoxicated members of the public allegedly entered the established crime scene and assaulted officers, which resulted in four people being sprayed with capsicum spray, police said.
Three people involved in the fight were arrested on Monday, and a fourth on Tuesday, with all charged with affray.
They include a 27-year-old Mooroopna man, a 31-year-old Mooroopna woman, a 33-year-old Shepparton man and the 23-year-old Shepparton man who was injured in the incident.
The 33-year-old Shepparton man has also been charged with conduct endangering serious injury.
All four have been bailed to appear in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in July.
Police investigations into the brawl and the people who entered the crime scene are ongoing.
