On Sunday, February 2364 golfers came together at the Seymour Golf Club for a fun-filled day of practising their golfing skills, indulging in a complimentary barbecue and participating in thrilling raffles.
The day, however, wasn’t just an excuse for locals to get out their clubs on a bright, sunny day.

$5000 was raised by participants to go back into the local and broader community from the raffles drawn.
For the immense success of the day, a Rotary Club spokesperson said it wouldn’t have been possible without the generous donations of local and broader sponsors including Neil Beer Auto Group, Tyrepower, Brenmak Industries and StrathAyr.
“Rotarian Peter Holland and past president Catriona Jarman thanked the community and Rotary members for their enthusiastic support and work in making the day the success it was, explaining that all funds raised would go back to the local and broader community,” the spokesperson said.
“Seymour Golf Club captain Bill Mathews thanked the Rotary Club and all the volunteers who assisted with maintaining the course and facilities at the golf course to make the event the success it was.”
