Greater Shepparton City Council is looking for locals who are ready to build their leadership skills and want to contribute to their community, with the program designed to nurture community-focused leaders.
In its 12th year, the program will provide a unique opportunity for community members to enhance their leadership skills across seven engaging workshops.
The workshops will cover a range of topics essential to leadership, including:
- Communications Preferences
- Community Leadership
- Public Speaking
- Goal Setting and Monitoring
- Understanding Community and Diversity
- Reflection and Resilience
- Cohort Designed Topic
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said the program helps to shape future leaders in the Greater Shepparton community.
“The program continues to be a vital stepping stone for emerging leaders in Greater Shepparton,” he said.
“Over the past 12 years, it has empowered individuals to make a real difference in their communities.
“If you are passionate about making a difference and want to develop your leadership skills, this is a fantastic opportunity.
“I encourage anyone interested to apply and be part of something truly rewarding.”
The program will start in May, with sessions held in person.
There are only 20 spots available for people aged 18 and older, with applications open from Monday, March 3 until Monday, March 31.
